STEP 17 - PHYSICAL SUPPORT

Is your job physically demanding or labor intensive? Are you moving heavy materials, on your feet all day, or physically helping others throughout the day? Maybe you are sitting at a desk poring over reports, projects, and working on the computer?

These actions can lead to physical discomfort, occasional soreness, and physical exhaustion. For areas of physical discomfort, the following Essential Oils can support relief when applied topically:

  • Marjoram

  • Lemongrass

ADDITIONAL PHYSICAL SUPPORT OIL TIPS

  • If you find yourself feeling eye strain during work (or any other time), apply some Lavender or Cypress to support healthy eyes.

  • If you are experiencing head tension, apply the Tension Blend to the back of neck and/or temples.

BLUE TANSY is an annual yellow-flowered Mediterranean plant found in northern Morocco. Chamazulene, a chemical component in BLUE TANSY, provides its characteristic indigo color. When this beautiful flower is distilled, a chemical reaction occurs leaving this beautiful rich color.

BLUE TANSY provides a sweet, fruity aroma that can fill any room. It's perfect for massaging into the skin with a carrier oil to provide soothing relief and skin support. BLUE TANSY is already found in our Soothing Blend.

Please note that this beautiful colored oil may provide a temporary blue hue to your skin, so be sure to apply with a carrier to help absorption.

PRACTICAL USES

  • Diffuse to uplift mood and create a positive atmosphere.

  • Add a drop to one to two ounces of your favorite moisturizer or cleanser and apply topically to help reduce the appearance of blemishes or soothe skin irritations.

  • Include one to two drops in lotion for a restoring massage after a stressful day or extreme workout.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

DIFFUSION: Use three to four drops in the diffuser of choice.

TOPICAL USE: Apply one to two drops to desired area. Dilute with a carrier oil to minimize skin sensitivity or temporary staining.

CAUTIONS

Possible skin sensitivity. Keep out of reach of children. If you are pregnant, nursing, or under a doctor's care, consult a physician. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas. May stain surfaces, fabrics, and skin.
